Mode Demultiplexing Based on Independent Vector Analysis for Few-Mode Fiber Communications

Abstract

We exploit and improve a MIMO demultiplexing algorithm named Independent Vector Analysis (IVA) in frequency domain for few-mode fiber (FMF) communication System. Both simulations and experiments show performance improvement compared with conventional methods.
