A waveguide-based bidirectional optical delay unit with Bragg reflectors

Abstract

A delay waveguide unit consisting of Bragg reflectors and delay waveguides for an optical serial-to-parallel converter is proposed. The designed unit shows the potential to reduce the size of the converter and simplify its structure.
