Abstract
We investigate the enhanced modulation efficiency of a silicon dual-ring modulator. Benefiting from single-drive push-pull configuration, 4-level pulse amplitude modulation is experimentally demonstrated at a bit rate of 20 Gbit/s with 3 Vpp. © 2019 The Author(s)
