Inter-core Crosstalk Mitigation in Multicore Fibers by Optical CDMA Spreading Technique with Referenced Channels

Abstract

In this paper, we employ optical code division multiple access spreading technique to treat the inter-core crosstalk in multicore fiber transmission. By choosing referenced channels, our results show about 3.4 dB improvement of inter-core crosstalk comparing to conventional 6-core fiber.
