Miniature In-Fiber Collimator for Static and Dynamic Displacement Sensing

Abstract

A simple miniature in-fiber collimator was demonstrated for static and dynamic displacement sensing. The Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) with the collimator has much higher sensitivities than the FPIs without collimator in the displacement measurements.
