Abstract

Free Space Optical communication (FSO) is a vital communication technology for achieving high bit rates, which of the transmission performance is significantly affected by the atmosphere. However, selecting the appropriate laser wavelength can effectively reduce the influence. Thus, we find a suitable wavelength for FSO transmission. The simulation result reveals that the wavelength of 4000nm is more suitable for free space optical communication compared to other wavelengths.
