Experimental Demonstration of QPSK Optical Transmission with Optical Phase Conjugation

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the nonlinear impairment mitigation of quadrature phase shift keying signals through mid-link optical phase conjugation. We achieve 0.45dB improvement of Q-factor in a 50km transmission link, which also matches the simulation results.
