Abstract

Visible light communication (VLC) has attracted more and more attention due to the extensively deployment of light emitting diodes (LED). Considering the occlusion problem is a difficulty in actual indoor environment, an anti-occlusion VLC system deserves to be completed. In this paper, we propose random-interleaved-based anti-occlusion scheme for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) VLC system. The simulation and experiment results show that the proposed scheme offers superior bit error rate (BER) performance in environment of obstructions.
