A 4×4 Reconfigurable Optical Processor

Abstract

A 4×4 reconfigurable MZI-based optical processor is investigated. The linear transformation matrix of the structure is theoretically determined based on its building block which is a 2x2 tunable MZI, and used for programming it experimentally.
