MAP Decoder for Nonlinear Compensation in WDM DP-QPSK Systems

Abstract

We propose MAP decoder for nonlinear compensation in WDM DP-QPSK transmission. Numerical results show that our proposed scheme is effective to suppress BER degradation due to fiber nonlinearity even in the SSMF-based dispersion-managed transmission.
