A New Architecture for Space Information Networks Based on an MEO Constellation Optical Backbone Network

Abstract

A new space information network architecture based on MEO constellation optical backbone network is proposed and a mesh-based MEO constellation is designed. Simulation results verify the good coverage, connection and access performance of MEO constellation.
