Broadband spectral compression assisted by soliton self-frequency shift in a chalcogenide strip waveguide

Abstract

We investigate broadband spectral compression assisted by soliton self-frequency shift in a proposed chalcogenide strip waveguide. Simulation results show that a compression ratio of 7.2 and a wavelength shift of 190 nm can be achieved.
