Abstract

A high-reflectivity broadband mirror using a two-dimensional grating with round rods arranged in hexagonal symmetry is investigated. The bandwidth of high reflectivity (R>95%) is ~225 nm for TM and TE modes, ranging from 1375–1600 nm.
