Abstract

We numerically demonstrated an active polarizer based on GST-assisted hybrid waveguide. A high extinction ratio has been achieved with the ultra-low insertion loss with GST in crystalline phase. When trigger to the amorphous phase, the device exhibits transparent with the negligible insertion loss for TE/TM mode.
