Stimulated Brillouin Scattering-based Switchable Microwave Photonic Filter

Abstract

A novel microwave photonic filter based on phase modulation and stimulated Brillouin scattering is proposed and experimentally demonstrated, which can be switched between bandpass and notch filter only by adjusting polarization direction of pump light.
