10 μJ square-wave pulses generation from a passively mode-locked figure-of-eight fiber laser

Abstract

We report the generation of square pulses operating in dissipative soliton resonance region from a dual-amplifier figure-of-eight fiber laser. Pulses with tunable width in a range of 360 ns and energy up to 10 µJ are obtained.
