An accurate stochastic distributed model for scatterings in optical fiber systems with Raman amplification

Abstract

We proposed a stochastic model to analyze the evolution of spontaneous Raman and Rayleigh scatterings in distributed Raman amplifiers. Good agreement was obtained between the simulations and measurements, which verified the accuracy of the model.
