Inducing and harnessing photon-phonon interactions in nanoscale integrated circuits

Abstract

My talk will review our progress and achievements in developing circuits that harness interactions between optical waves and hypersonic phonons towards a new class of silicon based optical phononic processor that is CMOS compatible.
