Liquid-crystal microlens arrays with graphene electrodes for optical storage

Abstract

A new kind of liquid-crystal microlens arrays with graphene electrodes controlled electrically, are designed and fabricated successfully and exhibit excellent beam focusing performances in both the visible and near-infrared wavelength regions, holding a great potential for fast optical-information storage.
