Demonstration of Optical Label Swapping using Optical Comb for DWDM Optical Label Switching Networks

Abstract

In this paper, a novel cost-effective all-optical label swapping scheme based on optical comb is proposed and experimentally demonstrated for dense wavelength-division-multiplexing (DWDM) optical label switching networks. The cost and power consumption are also investigated.
