Simple Open Cavity Pulsed Fiber Laser With Broadband Supercontinuum Generation Based On SBS Effect

Abstract

Over 1000 nm supercontinuum was obtained in a simple open cavity pulsed laser. Nanosecond pulses generation can be realized without any reflectors or modulators based on the stimulated Brillouin scattering effect.
