Design of High Channel-Count Dispersion Compensators Based on Digital Concatenated Chirped-sampled Fiber Grating With Multiple Phase Shifts

Abstract

Chirping the grating pitches is introduced into digital concatenated grating with multiple phase shifts to design dispersion compensators. Simulation results indicate this technique is a promising method for designing high channel-count dispersion compensators.
