Simultaneous Photoacoustic Elasticity and Viscosity Imaging

Abstract

Based on the thermoelastic and viscoelasticity damping effect, we propose a photoacoustic method for the elastic modulus and viscosity coefficient measurement. Elasticity and viscosity imaging of phantom sample indicates feasibility of method and imaging performance.
