Optoelectronic and Thermodynamic Study of Solar Cells

Abstract

This paper reports a comprehensive simulation of photovoltaic devices with simultaneous consideration of fundamental physical phenomena including electromagnetic, electrical and thermal effects. Photon behaviors, carrier transport and heat generation/dissipation are addressed in detail.
