Abstract

We design a polymer-waveguide asymmetric Y-junction for (de)multiplexing LP01 and LP11a modes. Our fabricated device shows the optimal demultiplexed crosstalk of −22.2 dB at 1560 nm and the 10-dB bandwidth of ~40 nm.
