Quantitative characterization of neurotoxicity effects on individual neuron cells using optical diffraction tomography

Abstract

We perform quantitative analysis of neurotoxicity effects induced by MPP+ on individual neuron cells (SH-SY5Y) using optical diffraction tomography. Neurotoxic effects of MPP+ on SH-SY5Y cells were characterized by quantitative structural and biochemical information obtained from measured three-dimensional refractive index distributions.
