Bandwidth-Efficient Mobile Fronthaul Transmission for Future 5G Wireless Networks

Abstract

We review recent advances in bandwidth-efficient mobile fronthaul transmission where multiple wireless signals are aggregated and transmitted with their spectral bandwidths unchanged. Applying this technique to future 5G wireless networks with massive-MIMO is also discussed.
