Wide Wavelength Tuning in V-Coupled-Cavity Laser integrated with a Fabry-Perot Filter

Abstract

We report our experimental results on a V-coupled cavity semiconductor tunable laser integrated with a Fabry-Perot tunable filter. Wavelength tuning of 43 channels with 100GHz spacing is demonstrated with side mode suppression ratio around 40dB.
