Abstract

Here we first experimentally demonstrated the electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) and Autler-Townes splitting (ATS) effects in mechanical coupled pendulums. Exploiting Akaike information criterion, these two effects could be discerned. The analogue of EIT and ATS is also discussed in mechanical systems.
