Real-time Optical Demultiplexing with the Chirped Pulses

Abstract

A novel scheme for the real-time optical demultiplexing by using the linearly chirped and time-broadened pulses is proposed. Simulation results show that the demultiplexing from 160 Gb/s to sixteen 10 Gb/s tributaries can be achieved.
