Intravital quantitative phase microscopy for studying blood flow in live mouse mesentery

Abstract

We present a method for in vivo quantitative phase images of red blood cells (RBCs) flowing through microcapillaries of mouse mesentery, which can quantitatively and non-invasively measure biochemical and morphological parameters of intact RBCs.
