Actively Stabilized Silicon Microrings Integrated with Surface-state-absorption Photomonitors at 1310 nm Using a Slope-Detection Method

Abstract

We demonstrate actively stabilized silicon microrings at 1310nm using a slope-detection method. We stabilize the microring with a ~3.2dB transmission fluctuation upon 4.5°C modulations from room temperature, giving a ~12dB improvement from unstabilized microrings.
