MIMO Transmission Over Multimode Fibers

Abstract

We present recent experimental results in mode-division multiplexed transmission over few-mode and conventional graded-index multimode fibers. We use photonic lanterns as mode multiplexers and coherent MIMO digital processing for the data recovery.
