Abstract

We have experimentally demonstrated interferometric temperature sensors in two-mode fiber (TMF). A wavelength-temperature coefficient of −43.232 pm / °C has been characterized. Compared with the wavelength-temperature sensitivity of single-mode fiber (SMF) sensor, TMF sensor has its advantages of high sensitivity.
