Coupled Mode Analysis of Angular Grating-Based Optical Vortex Beam Emitters

Abstract

We develop a model for angular grating-based optical vortex emitters based on the cylindrical coupled-mode theory. The guided and radiated modes are calculated, and the impact of grating size on the radiation power is discussed.
