Delay Effects of Optical Transport Layer on the Performance of Multi-domain Multi-vendor Networks

Abstract

The delay effects of optical transport layer is investigated based on an effective inter-domain control architecture. Results show that high Label Switched Path (LSP) setup delay will worsen the overall performance of multi-domain multi-vendor networks.
