Broadband Bragg Grating Mirror Based on Circular and Horizontal Slot Silicon Waveguides for TM0 Mode

Abstract

A circular Bragg grating mirror based on horizontal slot waveguides are proposed for the fundamental TM-mode. 3D-FDTD simulation results show that high reflectance of >0. 9 and a broad 1 dB-bandwidth of >120 nm can be achieved.
