A Visible Light Communications System with 220MHz Bandwidth Based on Pre-emphasis and Post-equalization Technologies

Abstract

We propose a visible light communications system based on pre-emphasis and post-equalization technologies. 220MHz E/O/E bandwidth is achieved with good frequency response flatness. A 553Mbps OOK transmission experiment shows the system has good communication performance.
