Abstract
A half cycle 64-QAM Nyquist-SCM PDM IM/DD optical communication system is experimentally demonstrated. The experimental results show that the 64-QAM Nyquist-SCM signal can be transmitted over 43-km SSMF with BER below FEC threshold of 2.4×10−2.
