Electrically Tuned Optical Add-Drop Multiplexers based on Parent-Sub Microring Structure on SOI Substrates

Abstract

A four-channel electrically tuned integrated optical add-drop multiplexer based on parent-sub ring structure is demonstrated and characterized. The influence of electro-absorption caused by plasma dispersion effect is also discussed.
