Parabolic Model-based Ice Thickness Monitoring of Power Transmission Line Employing FBG Sensors

Abstract

we propose a meliorative real-time monitoring methodology to measure the ice thickness of transmission line based on parabolic model and fiber Bragg grating sensors. The experiment results show that the accuracy is about 1 mm.
