Phase Noise Cancellation Polarization-Insensitive All-Optical Wavelength Conversion of DFT-S PDM-OFDM-8/16/32QAM Signals Using Coherent Dual-Pumps

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated phase noise cancellation polarization-insensitive all-optical wavelength conversion (PNC-PI-AOWC) of 10.03 GBaud DFT-S PDM-OFDM-8QAM (55.7-Gb/s), 16QAM (74.3-Gb/s) and 32QAM (92.9-Gb/s) signals based on FWM in HNLF using coherent DFB dual-pumps. Negligible OSNR penalties are observed after wavelength conversion.
