A Self-feedback Colorless Fabry-Perot Laser Diode for 5 Gbit/s DWDM-PON

Abstract

A remote-control-free self-feedback colorless FPLD transmitter with fiber Bragg grating based single-mode reflector is demonstrated for up to 5 Gbit/s DWDM-PON transmissions after 25 km with the aid of additional data-erased fiber loop.
