Digital Signal Processing for a Closed-Loop Resonant Fiber Optic Gyro

Abstract

A digital signal processor for a closed-loop resonant fiber optic gyro (RFOG) is implemented on an FPGA. The detection limit is 9.95nV, which can detect an equivalent Sagnac effect of 1×10−4°/s in an RFOG.
