An Accurate Symbol Synchronization Technique for IMDD optical OFDM

Abstract

A novel training sequence is designed for symbol synchronization in IMDD Optical OFDM. Accurate symbol synchronization is demonstrated based on symbol boundary detection and cross-correlation, which has the advantage of low computation complexity.
