Cascaded Transverse Microchannel Fibre Device

Abstract

A low-loss fibre device configuration that allows direct manipulation of core-propagating light based on designed integrated microchannels array is demonstrated. Architectures with long light-channel interaction lengths for effective device implementation are highlighted experimentally.
