Laser-Linewidth-Tolerant and Low-Complexity Two-Stage Carrier Phase Estimation for M-QAM with Coherent Detection

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a novel two-stage carrier phase estimation (CPE) algorithm for M-QAM. As compared to the BPS algorithm, the complexity of the novel algorithm can be reduced by factor of about 3.
