High Sensitivity Fiber-optic Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor Based On Multi-alternating Metal Layers

Abstract

A novel fiber-optic SPR sensor with multi-alternating metal layers is presented. Numerical simulation results show that the structure has higher sensitivity than the traditional SPR sensor and a wider detecting range of refractive index.
