A Fairness-Improving Spectrum Allocation Scheme in Flexible Optical Networks

Abstract

Service fairness of traffic with different granularities in flexible optical networks is addressed, and correspondingly a spectrum allocation scheme is proposed. Simulation results imply that it achieves service fairness without significant overall blocking performance changes.
