Abstract

A centralized Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA) algorithm for all-optical burst ring is proposed to offer sub-wavelength switching granularity without collisions. High bandwidth utilization and low-latency are gained through dynamically Optical Burst assignment and timeslot mapping.
